MCNS Team prior to September 2021
Vera appreciates her midwife colleagues that have made up MCNS past teams that either had an MCNS agreement to share the practice with her, or who provided coverage, so that she could have time-off.
She considers that her practice Midwifery Care North Shore’s success is partially due to midwives that have provided services with her, or in her absence. Some colleagues stayed years, others only a few weeks at a time. Many shared MCNS teaching and mentoring responsibilities. All contributed to the practice’s daily work-flow and life balance. Some continue on occasion to assist with Vera’s current EPC and afterbirth postpartum work flow.
In Dec 2021, Vera transferred MCNS 1998-2016 paper records that she had in storage to MedRecords to digitize and store for the time required by BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
Colleagues that provided services under the auspices of MCNS between 1998 – 2016 and clients that birthed their babies within this time frame, who may have a need to access a MCNS record can contact MedRecords to obtain a copy by clicking on this link.
At this time, Vera still maintains an electronic health record that she began in 2017. Colleagues or clients that were a part of the practice from 2017 onwards can message Vera about records via her contact page.
Photos used from earlier editions of MCNS website and FB are not representative of all the midwives over the years that have provided services out of MCNS work space.
