Respiratory Illness Prevention Processes
Now that we are out of the pandemic and mask wearing is optional in hospital and healthcare settings, and because, there are many respiratory viruses around, including COVID. Vera asks that we all focus on our individual and collective wellness, and remember lessons’ learnt during the pandemic.
She requests clients to be mindful how they are feeling before they come to her office and to notice if they are feeling slightly unwell, or if they are sick. When they are sick, she requests that they inform her and change their inperson visit, to a remote visit. If Vera becomes sick, she will also reschedule the type of appointment. She also asks that we remember to hydrate well, eat whole foods, sleep and exercise on a daily basis, to keep us well and that when we are sick, we stay home and sleep more, to aid our healing and also to reduce the chance of others catching our respiratory illness.
With this in mind, Vera requests that when a client and their partner come to her office that they sanitize their hands. If anyone is feeling ‘slightly unwell’ that they wear masks. She has spare masks to offer, should someone forget their own. Vera washes, or sanitizes her hands prior to any visit. She is also committed to wearing a mask in her office ,or at homebisit, if she were to feel slightly unwell.
Together we can thoughtfully and kindly look after ourselves and others and prevent the spread of illnesses.
Thank you!
